02 · What the assessment covers

What this assessment covers

The evaluation uses a trauma-informed interview and the PCL-5, alongside symptom and functioning measures.

  • PCL-5, the standard PTSD symptom checklist.
  • Symptom clusters: intrusion, avoidance, negative mood and cognition, and arousal.
  • Impact of symptoms on work, relationships and daily functioning.
  • Co-occurring anxiety and depression through GAD-7 and PHQ-9.
  • Functional impairment through WHODAS 2.0. You may pause or decline any question.

Self-report screening tools inform a clinician’s judgment. They do not, on their own, establish a diagnosis or eligibility for any benefit.

03 · What to expect

What to expect

  • Time: a 90-minute video interview plus questionnaires completed in advance.

  • Pacing: the interview is trauma-informed. You may pause or decline any question at any point.

  • Delivered as a secure PDF after quality-assurance review.

Report turnaround is confirmed by your clinician at intake.

06 · How to use your results

How to use your results

Results are documentation to support care or a claim — never a substitute for treatment.

  • Share the report with your therapist or prescriber to inform care.
  • Use it to support disability-related documentation where applicable.
  • Discuss evidence-based trauma treatment with a licensed provider.
  • If you are in crisis, contact a crisis line or emergency services rather than waiting for the evaluation.

Honest scope. This evaluation is clinical documentation. Whether it is accepted is decided by the organization that receives it — not by us, and not by a score.

07 · Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to describe the trauma in detail?

No. Your clinician takes the history needed to understand your symptoms and functioning, and you may pause or decline any question.

Is this the same as a PTSD diagnosis?

A licensed clinician forms diagnostic impressions using interview, history and validated measures. The PCL-5 is a screening checklist that informs — but does not alone establish — a diagnosis.

How much does it cost?

The standard price is $695, with a normal range of $595–$795 depending on complexity.

Will it be upsetting?

The interview is conducted carefully and at your pace. You can stop at any time, and your clinician will discuss supports with you.

Can it support a disability claim?

It can be submitted as supporting documentation. The agency decides what it accepts, and we guarantee no outcome.

Who sees the report?

Only you, unless you authorizze release to someone else in writing.
